In the present study we present a bibliographical research about the studies of the public health system published in Brazil, emphasizing the process of implantation, evaluation and biopolitics in the terms discussed by Brazilian researchers. This study also describes the legal framework and the organization of the Brazilian Public Health System, with its respective technical deficiencies, through a mapping of the main studies on health policies, particularizing the process of implementation and evaluation of these policies, as well as for the registration and presentation of an analytical synthesis of the studies that address biopower applied to public health policies.
