Resumo: |
This work proposes three different strategies for torque ripple reduction in interior permanent magnet synchronous machine (IPMSM), once one of the criteria to choose a machine is its torque capability, mainly, and if its torque can be delivered to the load with low torque ripple. There are some intrinsic characteristics that affect the torque ripple, such as the cogging and the reluctance torque. Although the conventional vector control applied to PMSM uses zero direct axis current to reduce the torque ripple, this is not suitable when it comes to the IPMSM due to the cross coupling effect between the direct and quadracture axis. This way, this work proposes three different strategies for torque ripple reduction by means of injecting current whether in direct axis or in quadracture axis to null the cogging torque and the reluctance torque contribution on torque ripple. The torque ripple reduction is possible by means of the proposed strategies, but when compared with the conventional strategy, they present higher current, which affects the copper losses in the machine. |
