Resumo: |
This research analyzes the social representations of the professors of Sociology, High School, in the city of Goiânia / Goiás on the teaching work and the relations existing in the school daily life, with the purpose of evidencing the type of representation that the professor of Sociology of the state network of teaching, presents about its role as a teacher and the social, political and pedagogical relationships that are established in the daily school life. Based on the Theory of Social Representation and as methodological procedures, observation, interview and questionnaire were used. The problematizing question that guided the research was: The social representations of the school and about the role of the educator, specifically the teacher of Sociology, in High School, elaborated by the teachers, refer to educational practices that reinforce the precariousness, devaluation and the teacher as a promoter and intervener of the educational reality? The results pointed out that the sociology professors of the state public school in Goiânia-GO have a critical view and different posture towards the world, but they present symptoms of suffering and attrition, generated by the obligations demanded of the educational system, however they show a vision in which the teacher profession is still the best option for stability, even with the intensification of service and control in improving student education and learning. |
