Resumo: |
In this thesis I present the results of research on labor supply for people with disabilities in the period between the enactment of the Brazilian Constitution from 1988 to 2010, analyzing changes and continuities regarding the employability of these people into work. I analyze historically how it was possible to cope with obstacles of prejudice and cultural stigmas allocated to that portion of society, that the 2000 census accounted for 14.5% of the total population. Inspired by the theoretical perspective of Pierre Bourdieu (1930-2002) and Erving Goffman (1922-1982) I use the concepts of habitus, field and symbolic violence from Bourdieu and the concept of stigma from Goffman, in dialogue with other contemporary social theories, trying to understand the question in formal, legal and structural areas. |
