n this work, the system of a fluidized bed drying of pharmaceuticals is studied, and its characteristics that turn the direct measurement of humidity hard to do are shown. To solve the problem of the real time measuring of humidity it is purposed the development of a mathematical model obtained from experimental data from the real equipment, and the adaptation of those data to humidity ratio already known in food drying systems. It was developed a neural net model to validate the behaviour of the model developed on this work, since the implementation on the application was not possible. Later, the model was applied in a PI closed loop control system to verify its dynamic characteristic in a controlled system. |
