O gênero discursivo charge no contexto escolar: contribuições para a formação do sujeito leitor crítico no ensino médio

Resumo: The present research aims to investigate how the genre discursive cartoon has been worked in the Portuguese language classes to construct the critical reader subject in high school and which reading procedures make possible the understanding of the speeches present in the cartoons. The theoretical support comes from the contributions of the philosopher Mikhail Bakhtin, the Discourse Analysis the French line, the Brian Street studies on literacy and the conceptions of some authors of the genre cartoon. The participants are the students of the second grade of high school and a Portuguese language teacher at a state military school in the interior of Goiás, Brazil. It is a qualitative research of the research-action type. In this research both the researcher and the participants reflect on the action and search ways to intervene in social reality. Through semi-structured questionnaires, audio/ video recordings and diversified reading activities the data are collected and analyzed in the light of the theoretical apparatus of the study with the purpose of elaborating a proposal of intervention mediated by the researcher. Pedagogical mediation generated the educational product consisting of an e-book that will be made available on a digital platform and presented to the Portuguese language teachers of the participant school and other schools of regional education coordination.
