Resumo: |
This is a study that sought to discuss the project's degree course in physical education developed at the Federal University Goiás in Goiânia - empirical research - with reference to the analysis of professional knowledge conveyed, the means used for the transmission of this knowledge (practical training) and teaching culture. We seek to understand to what extent the categories listed above contribute to the construction of professional identity forged within that institution formation. The trails for the development work began with a review of literature that deals with issues relating to research and collect data through semi-structured interviews with teachers (as) the course, questionnaires and conducting "group think , ie, "focus groups" with students graduates. The research, by means of quantitative-qualitative approach, demonstrated that training in general: - provides security for the teaching profession (despite the very theoretical bias of course) - presents theoretical and scientific quality - resulted in satisfactory training pedagogical - develops a powerful adherence to the teaching profession (a) in view of the demonstration by students of identification with the profession, presenting a positive front to the alternative of being a teacher (a). |
