Resumo: |
This Thesis analyzes the writings of the historian and Jesuit Michel de Certeau based on the idea of freedom of conscience. This idea is closely linked to the consideration of interpretation as construction. Through a theoretical approach to intellectual history, I developed a synchronic and diachronic analysis of works by the aforementioned author. I problematized the relationship between ethics and epistemology, developing a hermeneutic problem. Michel de Certeau presented the hermeneutical work emphasizing the centrality of the relationship. It shows how everyday knowledge and religious mysticism are forms of knowledge in the words of the other. Mystique, historiographical text and practical reason meet at this point. For Michel de Certeau, the knowledge of the other is an investment that cannot be given up, even if it is contradictory. |
