Currently, the planning of land use has ignored environmental issues. Human interference in the natural environment exacerbates the problems related to the environment, whether in urban areas or not. For this reason the knowledge of natural resources for rational planning of land use, predicting its maintenance is necessary. Factors such as disorderly occupation , silting of the margins of water bodies , discharging effluents in natura and disposal of solid waste in unsuitable areas are issues that should be discussed , and supported by research of a scientific nature that give the necessary support to actions by the government, in order to benefit the collective . In this context is that the city of Aparecida de Goiania will be presented, whose formation process was influenced by settlements promoted by the government, favoring a process of occupation in a disorderly manner. The shortcomings of the institutional structure, coupled with the failure to comply with rules and laws and random urban interventions of state and local governments, contributed to the urban fabric of configuring it is discontinuous, dispersed and inappropriately. The proposed work aimed to perform a systematic integration of data to evaluate the environmental quality in the city of Aparecida de Goiânia. Environmental indicators for the evaluation of the pressure - state - response type were used. From the analysis of these environmental indicators, we evaluated the local environmental quality. The data obtained may be used for decision making in urban planning of the city. |
