This study aims to analyze the Informação Goyana magazine, published in Rio de Janeiro between 1917 and 1935. The goal is to understand the strategies of projecting the state of Goiás produced by a group of intellectuals goianos recorded in the pages of the magazine. In this sense, we seek to understand the set of representations made to present the state in other regions of the country. That said, we aimed to identify the pages of the magazine, the elements of reconfiguration of identity, goiana. That is, the attempt by intellectuals to Informação Goyana integrate Goiás a project of modern nation to both praised and identified who the Goiás, which produced economically, politically and culturally, thus highlighting their strengths and potential contributions to the Brazilian progress integrating definitely Goiás in Brazil.
