Resumo: | The research presents information about the liquid residues treatment by electrolytic physiochemical process and its application as an alternative for the administration of the residues generated by the petroleum equipment manufacturing industry. Starting from bibliographical rising, tests performed in laboratory with effluents from this industrial branch and, experiences in treatment stations that are really using the electrolytic process, evidences of its effectiveness were obtained for the treatment of industrial and sanitary liquid residues, demonstrating that the use of electrolysis reactions make possible to increase the capacity and the efficiency of the traditional physiochemical treatment. The study disposable information about its performance in relation to the main effluents control parameters generated by this industrial branch (COD, MBAS, oils and greases, total suspended solids, color and zinc concentration), verifying its potential as a promising alternative for meeting the environmental legislation. The final evaluation proves the efficiency of the electrolytic process, emphasizing that it is not a treatment for solving all of the existent problems, but once again, proves that it is essential for the development of the environmental system administration, an action in the origin of the industrial processes, trying to simplify to the maximum the final treatment, to identification and implantation of cleaner production process |
