Resumo:	To present dissertation it consists of case study regarding use procedures, considered traditional, in the measurement of the workforce. Suche a study ewas driven in the Foundation Parks and Gardens (FPJ), organ of the City the Rio de Janeiro. We tríed to demonstrate that, in spíte of the technology contemporary some of the solutions of the organizational probiems are executed through the application of traditional actions. Risings where accomplished on the personnel tasks, operational processes as weII as measurement of the work and proposais of improvements regarding workforce about referred Foundation, seeking the attainment of the intended objectives
