The present study intends to demonstrate as, in poetic works of the Brazilian Edimilson de Almeida Pereira and of the Angolan Ruy Duarte de Carvalho it happens the intersection between poetry and ethnography. The used method will be the comparative and the analysis will be located in the extent of the Cultural Studies. Leaving of the theoretical subject of the autoethnography, the reading of the literary objects will happen on the rescue of elements, procedures and attributes that allow to place the dialogue between orality and writing, sells in such a rescue the force of the ancestral ones and a way of etno-cultural resistance of the people of African origin. To reach that proposition, it is chosen, as great metaphor, Atlantic Ocean and their two margins: the Brazilian and the Angolan.
