This dissertation was developted from an ethnographic research made with leaders of the Partido dos Trabalhadores (Worker's Party), known as PT. The objective of this work is to understand the relations inside a corrente (stream), one of the forms through which the groups inside the party organise themselves. I focus my work on four lideranças (leaders) that belong to the articulação (articulation), a corrente inside the party. The different forms of insertion in the movimentos sociais (social movements) and inside the party itself create different ways of political performance.
