Resumo: This paper focuses on the professional tendency of health organization management, more specially, in Brazil hospitals. Its main goal is to determine the requirements for achieving a successful implementation of Balance Scorecard in Brazilian hospitals environment, of course without pretension to exhaust the matter. This tendency leads the managers to find instruments, methodologies or models that offers credits and transparency in their administration. The Balanced Scorecard arises on 1990 in USA for develop a new model of performance measurement, it appears as a measurement tool that was based not just in financial indicative such as non-financial indicative too. The BSC concept is dynamic along its evolution it came to be perceived like a strategic implementation tool that shows the strategy trough indicators key. From the enterprises learning that inseminate BSC, in 1996 it passes to be discerned as a management strategic system cause follow the same five principles from the organizations guided by the strategic as follow, Translate the strategic in operational limits, line up whole organization with the main strategic, to transform the strategic in a process on going and mobilize all the change by leadership. At the end of this paper is suggested an implantation methodology of BSC in Hospitals, with base in the stages detail presented in the Study of Monte Sinai Hospital Case.
