Resumo: | Executive coaching encompasses a set of techniques to apply to professional occupants of key positions in companies, aiming to significant performance improvement of these professionals and, consequently, also the company where this is practiced. This research aims to study a company in the Brazilian retail sector, investigating, specific and comparatively, the promises and the results from our executive coaching activities implemented in the organization. In methodological terms, the research bolsters on the scientific and technical literature in order to create theoretical support and data collection tool for conducting empirical research through the two distinct groups of executives who have experienced executive coaching process, besides company hired to conduct the initiative. As expected results, aims to obtain a more accurate understanding about the critical success factors and benefits of coaching initiatives in Brazilian organizations, as well as verifying the possible limitations of the methodology |
