This essay aims at surveing the profile of the business administration professional, concerning the professional abilities, before the new working society requiriments, It is a case study that spans the period of a year, based on job advertisements published in the job ads section of the newspaper O Globo and in various consulting firms Internet sites. The requirements presented by the companies concerning the professional chracteristics, such as abilities, behaviours and Knowledge, made up a database which has made the results analysis process easier. The chosen theoretical approach is based on the factors that determine the employability conditions such as the economy, the needs and interest of the hiring companies, the technological progress and the performance of the schools related to that professional preparation.
