In an increasingly competitive market and eager for solutions standardized and reusable, the classic project management recommended that the practice of project management can be used in any project around the world, the same way. This paper aims to present and discuss this concept and show that differences arising from the context in which projects are included. At the end of the work, based on analysis of documents and data collected will be outlined a model to assist project managers in identifying organizational factors that hinder the transfer of management practices between projects.
