Resumo: | An efficient supply chain management - SCM is currently a high priority of business management that depends on the inbound, outbound and reverse logistics, in order to do a high level of customer service and still keep these activities at minimum costs. The SCM, in a company, embraces all business processes, since the suppliers of their suppliers, until the customers of their customers and is a big and complex process, that needs to be evaluated by using appropriated, efficient and quick diagnosis tools. These evaluations, in majority, are done by consulting firms that often, do not have skilled professionals with enough experience and knowledge in SCM to identify the gaps between the way that the supply chain is managed by companies and the best management practices. In the present text, one checklist to diagnose the supply chain management is available to use by both consultant professionals and also executives and technicians of companies interested in understand, evaluate and propose improvements in their supply chain management processes. |
