Resumo: | Globalization has led to major changes in the corporate world. The business scenario affected by these changes, led companies to adapt to new market demands. The increased competitiveness and new powers began to stand out as: focus on results, value-added products and services and flexibility in the profile to adapt to market requirements. Thus, cognitive ability becomes more valuable than the manual and capacity, companies are in need of organizational environments and projects that encourage and stimulate this new professional profile, with more creativity, flexibility and initiative. Then comes the performance evaluation tool with a focus on skills. The research aimed to prove the effectiveness and efficiency of using the Performance Evaluation based on competencies for career development. This tool was applied in a professional company operating health. We used indicators based on competencies of the business and the position being identified by mapping skills. The performance evaluation was based on instruments, as evidence of general knowledge and business, writing with theme-oriented activities and workshops for business analysts, and finally, questionnaire assessment. The results indicated that 80% of the group realized that the new evaluation program favored professional career systems, especially for presenting the clearest indicators and objectives, appropriate professional performance group. Additionally, this study provided employees with a better understanding of the requirements of the company with its activities, clarity of career goals, as well as decisions on promotions, succession activities, planning, and professional development. |
