This essay proposes a set of social-economical-environmental indicators to the advisement of the Petrochemical Complex of Camaçari, localized on metropolitan region of Salvador, Bahia, based on the methodology Pressure-StateResponse, desenvolved by OCDE, that permits identify state alterations of the environment and establish cause Iinks with pressure factors occasioners of these alterations, and defire politic actions and behavior changes as answers, Selecting these indicators were considered environment problems caused in water sources, ground and atmosphere. Additionally, this essay associates the increase of the brazilian petrochemical sector, specially Camaçari, to the tardy industrialization of our economy, to the II National Development Plan PND and to the exportations growth, that implicates considerable changes in the national industry structure, since middle of 70s, turning it more intensive in consume of natural resources and energy, having, this way, walking to a dirty industry. Aboard difficulties in the produce and use of certain environmental information s, intending the necesity of avaliation and valorization of impacts caused to the environment and establish a conceptual model, with large approval, capable of supporting this information s.
