Since the account of the experiences done by students of the Leonor Coelho Pereira council school, the dissertation reflect on the historical character of the theatrical form, investigating those experiences witch have already been examined and therefore a better compatible with the students cultural background universe. These echo serves as a base for us to understand the success and failures in the previous attempt to adapt three of the William Shakespeare s plays: Romeu e Juliet, Othelo e Macbeth. This analytical work puts emphasis in the subversion witch had it s principles been fundamentally fulfilled in the rigorous drama, thus to find it s on tune with the thematic universe provided by Shakespeare and the aesthetics antinomies stimulated by the persistence in those principles.
