Resumo: | Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is considered the administrative tool of the century, in the case of an evolution in the relationship between society and business. From the two last decades of the twentieth century global society entered into a new rhythm: due process of globalization has opened up a new pattern of competition and competitiveness has grown substantially among companies. During this period of economic transformation has been no change in the profile of consumers who now pay attention to the ethical behavior of companies, demanding postures for alleviating the social ills and environmental preservation through the practice of CSR. Thus, the modern consumer is their intention to purchase based on the analysis of quality, price, and also socially responsible company. Thus, the positive image the company has become an asset in contemporary competitive market. And the present study is devoted to its improvement through the Project Management, proposing the inclusion of CSR in the knowledge management practices of the PMI, more specifically in the PMBOK ® Guide. The study aims to establish CSR as a habit of running a business, and therefore proposes that this should not be an occasional practice or a separate project, but should be present in all strategic projects implemented by companies. |
