Due to all the market challenges, companies have been attempting to a form of knowledge management as a way to guarantee their sustainability. At the same time, project management emerges as practice to increase productivity and efficiency. However, the organization need to be prepared to comprehend, evaluate and prepare itself to this new position in the market, it is necessary, also, to these organizations, to develop an integrate view of themselves and it is in this sense that this study aims to make its contribuition. In this context, this study look for analyse some knowledge manadgement tools that in fact are applicable to the project management. As a methodologic option a blbliographic research was developed, and than it was supported for the survey research based on PMBok parameters. This survey had the objective of mesure the affectation of the knowledge management tools used in the project management done in the enterprise studied. As a result it was verified that the choice of the support tools is still another challenge that need to be overcomed by the organizations in order to increase their project performance.
