Resumo: | "From terror to delight" It is an expression that can be used to describe the change from a negative experience to a positive one. In the context of a math teacher, this can mean transforming a subject that many students find difficult and frightening into something interesting and even fascinating. Therefore, this work presents the trajectory of (re)constitution of a basic education a math teacher in his professional journey, from the first experiences in the classroom to the consolidation of his pedagogical practice with the objective of understanding the challenges and overcoming experiences during the process of teaching, training and performance. Reflections were made from personal reports, reports from managers, reports from former students and professional colleagues, in addition to the theoretical framework built around renowned authors of continuing education and the development of skills for success in the teaching career. Therefore, through this work it can be concluded that all practices in the classroom are in constant change and must move towards the deconstruction of the preconception that surrounds Mathematics. |
