Resumo: Internationalization has been a growing concern of Brazilian Higher Education Institutions, especially because of the presence of foreign students in various universities. The objective of this research is to assess the perception of the student experience in the Programa de Estudantes-Convênio de Graduação (PEC-G), including former and current students enrolled in the first semester of 2018, in the Federal University of Espírito Santo. PEC-G is a student mobility program developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Education of Brazil, to be an instrument of educational cooperation among the Brazilian government and some developing countries, especially those in Africa, Latin America, the Caribbean, and Asia. The papers referring to PEC-G theme, mainly the 7.948/2013 Decree, which regulates the Program, were used here as theory basis. The methodology consisted of data collection about the Program in Ufes, semi structured interview with students who have active enrollment in the Program in the first semester of 2018, as well as a semi open questionnaire with former students. This research was carried out in order to assess the experiences of PEC-G students since their registration to participate in the Program until their undergraduate degree completion. Through the data gathered plus the experience reports of former and current students of the Program, important information about students’ perspective was structured as well as relevant for the management of the Program at Ufes.
