Resumo: | This work intends to respond how deaf multiplicities are yield among the deaf-deaf gatherings, problematizing the effects of these reunions in the spaces-time. As a methodological and theoretical procedure, the research embraces the philosophy of the difference by Deleuze and Guattari, exercising a research aimed on the process of deterritorializations, connections and ruptures, among other of Deleuze’s theorizing which propelled the production of specific concepts for this work. Any person lives in constant state of transformation. The deaf produced, what is here entitled as “We” (deaf) and “They” (hearing). Sometimes, there is an occasion for everyone to become “We”, however, under constant surveillance. The “We” arises as the rational agents - the associable – and the “They” on the other hand, the non-associable, the outsiders. Both writing and data production was carried out through a cartographic methodology. The subjects participating in this work are deaf people inhabiting different community spaces: college students, high school students, deaf teachers and others who have not yet concluded their studies, in different age groups. Therefore, the results indicate that the deaf-deaf meetings foster the deaf variations and boost the deaf communities into forming a space-time of linguistic production. Those variations are possible due to several factors, concerning both cognitive and social areas as well as the influences to which anyone is ex-posed to, flowing naturally to where it feels more comfortable, possible, and desirable. The concept of deaf community is set as the different spaces in which the subjects connect and not as a specific community way that plasters and evens everyone. This plastering occurs through political struggles and actions that impose an ideal way of being part of this or that type of community, erasing the existent variations — the deaf variations erasure. Even though, clearly, the deaf community is necessary, including the need of “chatting” that happens with greater force within it — a space-time of those who share something in common. As an agency of deaf people, it is inside the community that they wish to be in. Within it the friendship-meetings undertakes moreover as space-time where the majority of deaf crave to be, because there, they can be in touch with their linguistic peers. Key words: Deaf community.
