Resumo: | This paper introduces the concepts, characteristics, causes, analysis methods and ways to quantify the short-duration voltage variations in electrical systems, dealing particularly ANEEL's proposal to create an indicator for the phenomenon to be used the electricity distribution sector in Brazil. Only an international standard has limits for voltage sags. Thus, the proposal to establish a methodology for quantifying the events with a specific indicator (Impact Factor) and the adoption of an associated limit represent a major signaling progress toward the establishment of consistent standards to be followed by utilities Brazilian forward to this important power quality phenomenon. To facilitate the assessment of the indicator, measuring equipment were installed in several buses 15 kV two Brazilian utilities, by collecting the records of short-duration voltage variations over an period of twelve consecutive months, for which was applied the method of quantification of events and obtaining indicators as ANEEL proposition. Further to, comparisons were made between the values obtained for the subsystems of the two utilities and the established limit, making possible inferences about the results and the possibility of attendance of utilities to the proposal adheres to the reality of them. Once the proposal is in force this question will be of great importance to all electricity distribution sector. |
