Resumo: | In this research, we will analyze the impact on students' attitude towards their participation in introductory Physics classes, based on the development of Investigative Activities. The research participants, students of the 9th grade of elementary school in a private school, were characterized by the lack of motivation to learn, not only Physics, but in all subjects. In view of this situation, it was sought to develop activities specially built from the perspective of Motivation to Learn. Based on the socio-historical approach proposed by Vygotsky, we systematically analyzed the group's behavior during physics classes, for about four months. In general, it was possible to perceive moments of intense involvement, although interspersed with moments of apathy. In some students, behavioral change was more evident, moving from total disinterest to effective participation. The big challenge is to make these changes permanent, breaking the barrier of comfort. |
