Given the evolution of information and communication technologies and the transformations that have taken place in the contemporary family, the houses are outdated, still following the tripartite style, from century. X1X. Thus, the dissertation presents home automation as a condition for the process of designing residential buildings, with the aim of deconstructing this conception of current housing. Presenting examples of home automation technologies that can be applied in the building to bring about the reconfiguration of the spatial model, to expand the relations between residents and housing.
