Resumo: | The work seeks to understand how to organize urban space, choosing the municipalities of Vila Velha and Cariacica (ES), Metropolitan Region of Greater Vitória (RMGV), with a focus on the Rio Marinho neighborhoods, with the general objective of analyzing, in a way Theoretical and empirical, a formation and consequent transformation of the neighborhoods, especially stimulated by the construction of the highway East-West. This dissertation is part of the qualitative research paradigm with the use of a pluri-methodological approach, which combines methods of analysis and interpretation of data from different sources. Therefore, this study also articulates Bibliographic Research, Documentary Research and Field Research. We carried out a bibliographical survey through books, dissertations, theses, monographs and scientific articles on the concepts of Metropolitan Region, neighborhood, urban voids and socio-spatial formation. The documentary data were collected in planning bodies, in the municipality and in the state, represented by documents and archives, such as letters, letters and laws found in the Jones dos Santos Neves Institute (IJSN), in the registers of the prefectures involved, in periodicals of the time , Also cartographic survey in the IDAF and data collection in IBGE. The field research allowed to systematically visit the neighborhoods and conduct interviews through a semi-structured road map with subjects who live or work in these localities, seeking to gather information about the formation of the neighborhoods and later on the influence that the East-West highway, Have had in the neighborhoods. We also work with photographs of public equipment and works on the East-West highway. |
