Resumo: | Introduction: By Decree No. 5,707 / 2006, the Policy and Guidelines for Personnel Development (PNDP), which provided guidelines for the permanent development of the server, were instituted for the organs of the federal public administration, autarchic and foundational. improvement of the quality of public services provided to citizens. Objectives: Due to this and considering that only ten years after the promulgation of the PNDP, the Federal Institute of Espírito Santo (Ifes) effectively began the construction of a Server Training Policy, a survey was carried out to understand what training actions were taken by the institution in this period and if these were in accordance with the proposal in the guidelines of the decree. Approach and type of research: This is a qualitative approach, configuring the research as descriptive. Instrument and data collection: The collection of data was performed at the Ifes through documentary analysis. Analysis and discussion: As a result, it was verified that strategies for the implementation of training programs have not yet been disseminated and implemented, sometimes even foreseen in the institutional documents of the Institution, being dependent on specific training actions that have not always achieved their objectives. Main results and conclusions: During the period studied, IFES was set up using a capacity to improve and fulfill some of the tasks set out in the PNDP. It was explicit in this work the importance of the training of servers in the federal public service as a strategic tool in the achievement of the organizational objectives and the importance of implementing the Server Training Policy through an Annual Training Plan elaborated through a Survey of Training Needs. |
