Resumo: Everyday life in contemporary cities has been related to the flow speed, impersonality and insecurity, however, authors such as Hesse (1977), Oliveira Jr. (2010) and Marandola Jr. (2011), indicate movements in which fissures are created in this dynamic, so that "they insist on existing" (ASPIS, 2010) in the midst of this functionalist city, being guided by sociability flows, slowness and security. Thus, the aim of this paper was to investigate how all these flows influence and manifest themselves in the urban experience in two places in the city of Vitória in the State of Espírito Sanoto, Brazil: Jerônimo Monteiro Avenue and Camburi Shoreline. These two areas were chosen because they are used for different purposes, the first is more often used for trading the second for leisure, thus analyzing if this difference affects the occurrence of the investigated flows. Authors such as Virilio (2014), Bauman (1999, 2009), Caiafa (2003) and Jacobs (2011), were essential to the discussion of how the everyday life started to be related to this flows, which Queiroz Filho calls the "big marks to the contemporary urban living" (Queiroz Filho et all, 2013). The researches were carried out through field experiments, which happened during four weeks. The knowledge and data collected from the experiences and observations in Jeronimo Monteiro Avenue and in Camburi Shoreline, were the basis to develop the field reports and the making of charts, graphs and maps. These products intend to show the variety of data collected and the experiences we had along these four weeks. To create these materials, each flow was associated to a color, taking into account its characteristics and the Theory of Colors by Goethe (1993). We conclude by discussing and analyzing the influence of the flows in the area and also a comparison between them, in order to identify similarities and otherness.
