Resumo: | This paper aims to investigate the crossing of Christian direction in the modulation of behaviors and conducts of life forms of Translators and Interpreters of Sign Language and Portuguese Language (TILSP) in Espírito Santo. We seek to show that the Christian crossing is inserted in deaf education based on the stories of characters from the analysis of two main historical documents, the Congress of Milan (1880) and the Congress of Paris (1900). Thus we can problematize the practices of subjectivation of ways of living of such professionals in the present, using Michel Foucault as a reference from the "techniques of the self" to describe the operations of control that emerge in society, a condition that is exercised by man transforming it into a way of life. The chosen methodology is the "conversation" from the perspective of Carmen Sampaio et al (2018). The conversation as an event opening space for what is not yet, which can become through attention and sensitivity to gestures, words, emotion and reason that speak for themselves bringing truths to the surface living the research as an experience of being, opening possibilities of being others. The results lead us to problematize these behaviors where the Parrhesiast TILSP emerges, who through the courage to tell the truth becomes a professional committed to the priority of fulfilling his ethical role. |
