This investigation analyzed the subjectivities of a Pomeranians’ descendant teacher who works in Domingos Martins City (in the state of Espírito Santo, in Brazil) tying to unveil the senses which pervade her Pomeranian existence. Domingos Martins was the chosen research locus for having received numerous Pomeranian inmigrants over one hundred and fifty years ago and keeping the Pomeranian culture, language and traditions alive up to now. Based on a method of Phenomenology inspiration, we intend to describe, phenomenologically and existentially, the perceptions and senses of being a Pomeranian. This research’s maind goal is to get to contemplate the essences, namely, to the phenomena’s ideal and understandable content, trying to interpret the subject’s world through her subjectivities and consciousness, stated by her from her lived-felt-remembered experiences. The qualitative data collection used an open interview drawing the information from the teacher’s life’s oral history. This text problematizes the respect to the traditional Pomeranian peoples’ and the allochthonous languages empowering’s importance as they are considered extinct in their places of origin. Through this study we used many authors’ concepts to draw the theoretical foundation which helped us leading the path chosen to the understanding of being Pomeranian’s senses and subjectivities. On this journey, we adopted as basic theoretical reference the existential Phenomenological psychology foundations (Forghieri), under which we unveiled the senses and experiences livedfelt-remembered by the teacher, concerning her Everyday, the continuous formation meetings, and her daily living. Trying to better capture the subject’s senses-of-being, we anchored this research on Paulo Freire’s bibliographical conceptions and approaches on the concepts of Human Being; World; Being in the World; Unfinished Self; Subjectivity; Transcendence; Being More; Existentialism and Culture. We tried to (un)cover, (un)veil and (un)derstand how these concepts have been present in the subject’s life and which senses were produced from them as she narrated her own life history. Paulo Freire’s works were fertile sources on the oppressed, excluded, minority groups fighting movements, as well as the traditional Pomeranian people’s ones. Through this investigation it became possible to enter the historic trajectory of the subject and to understand the relationships dynamics that were established along her life as well as to comprehend the set of meanings she imputes within her own existence
