Resumo: |
This work deals with the relations between imagetic and the Sustainable Development Plan (SDPTR) for the Middle-north Touristic Region. The researched area corresponds to parcels of the States of Maranhão, Piauí and Ceará covering an overall of ninety municipalities. It is noticeable the construction of an integrator speech, in which, image stands out as the main focus of connection for the emergent regional project. Facing this perspective, this research aimed at analyzing the touristic integration process of the Middle-North based on the role of imagetic in current tourism regionalization policy. Seeking for landscape, social and economic homogenization aimed at the interconnection of heterogeneous areas, the SDPTR imagetic policy, substantiated on the referred plan, promotes, in present day, a complex range before the local reality. The operational procedure of the research was built in three moments: First, it was made a bibliographic review on thematic such as tourism, region, poverty and regional development; following, it was conducted a survey on the Middle-north Plan insertion documents in the three instances of power; and finally, in loco investigation, in which, it was directed a search for imagetic productions based on the referred plan as well as interviews with local social actors. Analyzing the regional proposal, it is noticed the speech aimed at the comprehensiveness of generalizing infrastructure policy elaborated for the effectuation of touristic activity. The formation of a region more concerned with a policy motioned to external attraction for tourism than necessarily with the articulation of its components, reveals a series of fragilities in the SDPTR organism, conferring to this plan, features of a sustainable underdevelopment proposal. |
