The present work aims to analyze, in the light of the available documents, the institutionalization process of the initial formation of music teachers at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC), seeking to highlight the pedagogical updating processes contained therein. Starting from the concepts of habitus (BOURDIEU, 2018), and carrying out theoretical dialogues with the concept of conservative habitus (PEREIRA, 2012), this study sought to situate itself in an analysis of the content of the curricular proposals, in order to know the concepts and elements that had repercuted on the trajectory of institutionalization and Higher Music Education at UFC until the implementation of its first training course for music teachers, in 2006. This research is bibliographical and documentary in nature, with a qualitative approach, and used specific techniques of document content analysis (BARDIN, 2011). With this work I sought, through the reflections and discoveries that constitute it, to contribute to the discussion of curricula that provide music education, which aim to contribute to the training of music teachers, and to the democratization of access to musical knowledge. |
