Resumo: This study aimed to evaluate the quality of reproductive planning with Implanon®, based on the six elements of quality proposed by Judith Bruce. It was an evaluative research conducted with 110 users of the method, carried out from March to December/2019, with a semi-structured interview script, in four institutions of the Health Secretary of the State of Ceará. For the analysis, the chi-square, Fisher-Freeman-Halton, and likelihood-ratio tests were used, considering p<0.05. Mean ages and years of education were 26.5 and 10.8 years, respectively; 61.8% declared living in a stable union and 64.4% had an average family income of 1.5 minimum wages. The elements of adequate quality comprised: technical competence (88.2%), appropriate service network (84.6%), and interpersonal relations (82.7%). Weaknesses in the general knowledge about noncontraceptive benefits were verified. Most women were satisfied with Implanon® (83.6%), 78% intended to acquire a new one, and 87.3% would recommend it. Perception of quality of care presented four categories: environment, service, method, and professional (51.8%). Results revealed that the practice of professionals working in reproductive planning related to Implanon® included the six elements of quality proposed by Judith Bruce to evaluate the process.
