Resumo: |
This research interprets a singular pathway of becoming a family and community doctor concomitant of the encounter of the personal and institutional times of its training. The subject emerges during my Master in Public Health, at the Federal University of Ceará, through the deconstruction of the doctors’ traditonal way of practising, in order to promote a movement of existential growth based on the conception of ethics-of-life. This decision is the result of a breaking with the biomedical model of health training, undertaken during my times at the University of Medicine of the Federal University of Ceará, under the influence of psychoanalysis, which for me has contributed to the establishment of the Family and Community Medicine model. This work has hermeneutics as the interpretative basis which conducts the research, and uses the narrative of formation as a means of broadening the possibilities of comprehension and the construction of new ways for the reinvention of ourselves. The general objective is to understand the sense of becoming a family and community doctor as a movement that goes beyond the current medical paradigms. The features of the biomedical and the Family and Community Medicine models, in the context of the experiences acquired in these scenarios of practice, are also described. |
