O discurso bolsonarista para a educação no Brasil

This master's dissertation intends to understand the phenomenon of systematic attacks by people, movements and institutions that identify themselves politically to the right, notably, an extreme right that gains visibility with the speech of Jair Messias Bolsonaro, to teachers who work in the Brazilian educational system. In this work, a critical speech analysis on statements, interviews and social media posts by Jair Messias Bolsonaro, Abraham Weintraub, and the ideologist Olavo de Carvalho will be made. The speeches of Escola Sem Partido (School Without Party) and its supporters, which resumed, after the political reopening, the professor's reactionary discourse as an ideological indoctrinator one should be careful to reference, will also be critically analyzed. In addition, some emblematic cases of ideological and professional harassment of teachers in Brazil and a survey carried out by the Laboratory of Studies in Politics, Education and the City (LEPEC/UFC) will be presented, demonstrating the perception of education professionals of this relatively new scenario in the Brazilian teaching profession, that is, the image of the teacher as a political-ideological indoctrinator, and is no longer limited to the heart of the right-wing movements, but has also reached the school environment.
