Resumo: |
In this research, I revisit and rearrange personal archives. The action of reviewing papers, notebooks, documents, drawings, productions, objects and folders contained in my (physical and virtual) workspaces has been the basis of this artistic creation. I appropriate the records using montage techniques, in an analogue-digital tangle of images and words, working on hybrid experiments based on elements (data) contained in the personal collection and in everyday life. While I trace particular mappings and expose recurring issues in my consumption, learning and sharing activities, I relate notions of information aesthetics (Lev Manovich), network creation (Cecília Almeida Salles) and technical images (Vilém Flusser). Following the post-production process of my archives, I address concerns about displacement, crisis of connections, dematerialization and complexity in the contemporary context. Throughout this work, I place process documents at the center of creation in order to articulate theories and practices that poetically move between art and science. |
