Resumo: Addresses human health and right to life and social policy as a result of the political struggle of society against the state in order to reduce health inequities. It presents science and work in public health, focusing on the relationship with the public health system, especially in the family health strategy (FHS) on the basis against epistemology - the knowledge of ecology. Aims to systematize the construction of an understanding of human health and health needs, anchored in the experiences in health care, teaching and research, in dialogue with the complexity and the ecology of knowledge, considering the interior of semi-arid environment, with a view practices / emancipatory knowledge in the FHS. The research was made by adopting: the narrative or autobiographical essay that presents an experiential knowledge; membership in an epistemology and a methodology that articulates the plurality of knowledge beyond the science, which is the knowledge of ecology; the critical interpretation of the FHS care model in conjunction with the rural territorial dimension of field / backwoods of Ceará semiarid region. Prepare a knowledge / know using multiple skills, knowledge and languages, such as: music, poetry, literature, photography and painting, that integrate with formal knowledge, technical, scientific, political and constitutes the identity and expression of a human being (personhinterland-professional health-researcher) and their health care practices. Argues that health generating processes, in addition to the processes involved in health, established by the State, by means of health services, are produced in interaction with society in historical context, political, social, cultural and economic. Spells that work in the FHS requires creativity, autonomy and participation as central pillars for strengthening a vision of health and health practices, integrating the individual-familycommunity with health care-team-territory. States, therefore, that the implementation of the FHS as health care model requires recognition: the environmental vulnerabilization process; planning; health promotion; and intersectoral approach as essential to meet the health needs and deploy health care to individuals, families, communities, territory. Sees the need for a counter epistemology to gestate knowledge / emancipatory practices in health articulating the research-community-serviceeducation. Suggests that the health care of healthy people or patients in the FHS requires to weave a new acquaintance: interconhecimento, or emancipatory knowledge in health. Proposes the ecology of knowledge as epistemology to weave the interconhecimento, matured in the solid ground of experience, articulate culture and identity, in order to build a bridge to transition to a new time, which brings together science, policy and technical for the sake of overcoming the hegemonic model in health in the territories / communities / families.
