The populational eldemente and the depenan ocassioned by thc increasing of longevity underline the figure of domiciliar professional, the focus ofstudy. The objectives ofthis study werc to coinprehend the elder's professional familiar. To this seached to features the eldefs professional familiar, rcgading Sex, age, parentship, civil State, income; to identify the social and cultural determinam present in the decision of take care of the elder, to know thc repercussion of care in social and familiar range of the professional and to identify thc presence or lack of a social net ofspport and origin of their formation. It leads of a qualitive study of descriptive type and used from pinciples of complehensive approach. The research took placc with the familiar professional of thc dependet elder, living in the L)om Lustosa and PlCi's nighborhood, in thc municipal of Fortaleza - CE. The critria ofseletion wcre to care of the elder with total dependance at minimum in the locornoyion, hygiene, nutrition, and hidratation, for a period superior to six mounths. To this selection we used the Kat'z scale, tht estimate thc indcpendance indice in activities of selection we used the Kat'z scale, that estimates the independence indice in activities of daily lile ( AVDs). Followings the criteria the studyhad participation of tem professionals . to cot ta it used the observation, semistruetured interview and the use of camp diary. The interviews weie recorded in K7 tape and transcriped in full, followed of condification and analysis. The categories werc rcunited following the great thermes that emerged: the trail of dependance, the daily of thc care, social nt of support and prpetivies of take care. The reults gotten revcaled that 90% of profesional were women, 60% were daughters, 100% didn't work, 90% shared thc same home with the Ider, 80% had age above 43 years, thc average of years directed to he care werc about 3.3 years, 40% were married and in 90% thc income ranged from R200 to R400. The suy also revcald tha thc main cause of dependance were the falis, it is does, causes possible avoidable. It demonstrad that the decision ofto be professional not alwals carne from the own person that assumpted the care and thc main reasons were: fccling of obligation, pity, gratitude and love, that for ourun were influented by their life study and y the cultural standards of each one. The difilties referred were: lack of honte's strueture, agressivity of the elder, lack of financial resources, argumented of works and lack of physical conditions. Regarding the repercussion of care, it viewed that these are mainly negativies, taking to familiar discussions and personal insatisfaclion. Another evidence is the lack of a formal and informal net of support. We viewed that should not ommit the reports of daily care and the health professional have obligation to help to keep the personal saisfacion levei ofthe professional, becoming desirable to ow this cient, still in the shade ofgovernamental actions. |
