Resumo: |
This work was performed from the ethnographic practice with the geek management groups located in the city of Horizonte/CE, being studied within the bibliography necessary for an analysis of the facts obtained in the field, seeking to understand the impacts and consequences of the construction of environments. Of fruitful sociability for the spread of geek youth culture. The bonds of partnership and friendship, as well as conflicts, present themselves in the different spheres experienced by youth and redefine their way of thinking and seeing the world in the manifestation of a collective emotion. Being a geek is able to bring together young people from different youth cultures in specific moments of emotion sharing, being able to work together in the elaboration of Hora-Con and Horizon Geek events, aimed at the same audience. These organizations do not occur peacefully and are the target of disputes between those involved, whether young or belonging to other age groups. Thus, we propose to think of these practices and groups as spaces for collective learning and socialization of knowledge and group cultures. The construction of knowledge, in this context, is in conflict with the school culture, establishing boundaries between the areas of knowledge and life in society. Sociology appears, albeit timidly, as an element capable of awakening the dispositions necessary for the development of youth protagonism, since its purpose for high school is consistent with the adjustments found among the researched geek groups. |
