To survive and grow, the Organizations sought to know and refine their organizational culture, using a cultural element known as organizational value. Such values originate from the culture of the Organization, both internal and external, and from the culture of the owners or managers, in interaction with other members of the organization. The main objective of the research is to investigate the important organizational values (desirable) to the Banco do Nordeste, in the perspective of its administrators and employees: managers, technical staff/advisors and ordinary staff. The study adopts the theoretical model of Tamayo (2008), with the application of the scale of organizational values (EVO). It is a bibliographic, descriptive and exploratory study whose focus is the quantitative method. The survey was applied at Banco do Nordeste do Brasil SA, by the area responsible for planning together with the Ethics Committee and the presidential cabinet, with the support of Communication and Marketing area, and Technology area. To the analysis, we used the EVOGuide, treating the sample through the average, frequency, sets and standard deviation (Descriptive Statistics). Tests were used for sampling and validation of the questionnaire as well as confirmatory tests of the analysis (Inferential Statistics), test ANOVA e test Tukey HSD were used. It was concluded that, in general, respondents showed efficiency and respect to employees and others as the most important values, sharing strongly their values. Employees’ averages are very close to each other, especially among managers and ordinary staff, and feature greater distance of the averages presented by the group of administrators. The ten highest scorers were values: honesty, productivity, competence, compromise, ecognition, efficacy, confidence, dedication, cooperation and efficiency are coincident in all groups of employees, although with different classification. Five of these values coincide with the administrators group. The results will be forwarded to the BNB, which can be used for updating of the values of the Organization, contributing to the elaboration and/or improvement of its policies, plans and/or standards.
