Resumo: |
The following research analyzes the affective and collective memories through the point of view of the heiress of the exile about military dictatorship and post-amnesty in Brazilian cinema. The focus of this work is to analyze the films directed by Flávia Castro, the documentary Diário de uma Busca (2010) and the fiction Deslembro (2018). We have the objective of understanding how cinematographic resources can be utilized to face the silences in the relationships between parents and the country, in order to put marginalized voices to tell their narratives, making the memory a construction beyond the home space. The cinema of Flávia Castro seeks for memories by means of losses and gaps, not with the intention to fill them, but with the purpose of exercising the remembrance in face of family and historical trauma. Through the analyses of Castro's films, it's possible to perceive how cinema is an important tool in the search for the rescue, empowerment and preservation of the memory and history of a person, a family, a community and even a country. Our methodology involves the bibliographical research related to the work of the post-memorial generation of filmmakers and their films about the military dictatorship, in a fusion between the domestic and the political to write the history against the grain, and consists in the filmic analysis of the audiovisual works that makes the corpus of this research. KEYWORDS: Flávia Castro; Deslembro; Diário de uma busca; military dictatorship; memory. |
