Resumo: The thirst for evolution in the fields of teaching and learning encourages education scholars to always want to improve their field of action. With this, we seek to see as requirements and specificities for quality teaching, contextualized with the contemporary social reality, which contemplates the virtual. Thus, Raízes, which starts from the research of those involved in this research, and intends to develop a Digital Educational Object (OED), which meets the requirements of teachers and students in their teaching and learning process in virtual contexts, based on the Sequence tests Fedathi. It is a collaborative research aimed at educational institutions and teachers to innovate their actions and use documents. From the OED - Raízes, students' autonomy will also be instigated, promoting researchers and active individuals in their learning process, giving them the opportunity to use the independents. It is a work of qualitative approach, characterized as exploratory / descriptive research, with the objective of modeling a final product, since we need some subsidiary actions, as well as: teacher training in virtual contexts to describe the profile of the professor to work at OED - Raízes, which is the product of the research. A work bibliography addresses topics such as Distance Education, Technology, Cyberculture, among others, which are based on issues that support the basis for the creation of Roots. As a result, in addition to the creation of an initial prototype, where models and explained as OED functionalities - Roots, also allow you to contribute to a more contextualized education with today's society, where virtual and analog are intertwined, with a focus on adequate experience of the subjects inserted in the proposed environment, using an adequate model and centered on the needs of the user / apprentice, and on the actions and postures of the document.
