What do you think the people living around the dam Gamelleira about building such a venture ? From this question, other questions began to compose a frame of reference to guide this study. Interested to understand how to ensure the survival of man in field with dignity in a land marked by contingencies of drought and its consequences that constantly transform symbolic values, affect their style of being, living and acting in the world and a plot to build working mechanisms, production and consumption on a permanent devastation of the environment. The research problem is outlined from the perspective of answers to the following questions: to what extent is important for people around the dams manage your APP? Why are severely degraded due to local factors and need for integrated management of the population and levels of government, and what measures can be taken? How they lived before the impoundment? The structural changes were only? Or they feel bad about it ? Pespectiva this, we aimed to analyze the consequences of including the area surrounding the weir in the management of APP population, whereas their area was degraded, with no vegetation cover, and intended for other purposes. More specifically aimed at assessing the involvement of local people in the inclusion and participation in the management of APP activities, and the involvement and integration of actions of government agencies responsible for the development, the influence of the training population and the existence of public policies and production alternatives. Anyway, if you understand this population feels like an integral part of this new reality. The work involves literature, documentary and field research. 35 families were resettled in Agrovila Gamelleira and among them 18 were interviewed. The study results are presented in tables and charts, and their findings, analyzed sequentially converging and complementary way to understanding the need for greater investments in popular education that pesrpectiva of ecological sustainability and quality of life are preserved. |
