Resumo: |
Public policies are created as a result of problems identified in the society and are consolidated through programs which actions have the goal to reduce or extinguish the problem at hand, producing specific effects and influencing the several segments. In the educational context, PIBID - Institutional Program in Initiation in Teaching Scholarship - appears as a major public policy of the Federal Government, that aims, among other things, encourage the training of teachers for basic public education, contributing to the enhancement the magisterium. That said, the present study aims, in view of PIBID graduates of the Federal University of Ceara (UFC), evaluate the impact of the program in the qualification and training of teachers for basic education of the public, anchoring analyzes not only in opinions, but also in the experiences of the students. For this, three objectives were pursued: analyze the PIBID implications for the teaching qualification; analyze the influence that the program has had on professional egress choice; and analyze the perception of graduates of the public school during the scholarship experience. Using the research methodology of exploratory and descriptive quanlitative quantitative approach, based on the case study, a questionnaire was sent, with open and closed questions to the email address of 584 UFC PIBID graduates, which is the total population surveyed, obtaining a return of 14.38%. From the data analysis, it was concluded that the PIBID not only contributes significantly to the qualification of teacher education as arouses or reinforces the interest in teaching in public basic education, despite all the misfortunes. However, it is important to do further researches that is not limited only to the scope of UFC also assessing the contributions of PIBID from the perspective of graduates of other state Superior Teaching Schools. |
