Resumo: |
It was deployed, over all the Fortaleza metropolitan area, a goal of 20% reduction on the water consumption combined with a 120% contingency tax over the surplus volume in the target implemented. The main objective of the research is to verify if condominiums that have an individualized measurement system reduced their consuption in 2016/2017 years as compared to the years 2014/2015. In this analysis we considered the water volume and the number of people per apartment. Awaring that per capita consumption is influenced by several variables, property patterns and their location were specified, making it possible to trace the socioeconomic profile of this domestic consumer. On the general reckoning, it was observed that none of the studied condominiums, as we analyzing the individual consumption of the apartments, reached the goal of reducing consumption by 20%. The condominium A, a middle standard, displayed per capita consumption between 50-200 liters per inhabitant per day in 70% of the calculated consumption cases. Condominium B, a high standard, obtained per capita consumption between 50-250 liters per inhabitant per day for a frequency higher than 70%, while Condominium C, a high standard, was characterized by a per capita consumption in the ranges between 150-350 liters per inhabitant per day in that same cumulative frequency. This research made possible identify internal leaks as well as the period in which the problem remained until the individual consumptions returned to the average value. It was possible to analyze the reading of the main hydrometer when comparing with the values obtained in the individualized hydrometers, as well as to punctuate, in a general way, the consumption characteristics of the condominiums under study (seasonality, effectively occupied buildings, leaks), the mechanisms adopted by the condominiums to face the urban water crisis, and what are the impediments to effective the individualization regarding what concern the basic sanitation company of the state of Ceará. |
